Clean Out All Body Cavities
(As soon as you are able)

While we are sleeping, our wonderful body is still at work. Fasting, as it is cleaning and repairing. We can help it do its work in a number of ways.

The first way we can help is to make "lunch" the main meal of the day, and make this meal your biggest protein meal. If you are eating meat, it will help if you cut it up into "tiny" bits, so that it can be digested easier. The enzymes and stomach acids will have an easier time breaking down the food, which will allow the food to pass from the stomach and on through the small and large intestines. It is necessary that a person have a lot of fiber in all of their meals, so it will absorb liquid, and not compact in the large intestines, because one of the functions of the large intestine, is to extract moisture from the stool, this function seems to go into "overdrive" in people with Parkinson's.

Always remember that as extra fiber is added it is necessary to add more water. My choice is WHEAT BRAN!.

If you are a senior, or a person having trouble digesting your food, it is a good idea not to drink with your meals, because as we get older, our stomachs do not have as much acid and enzymes needed to break down the food, and if you drink with your meals you only dilute the acids and the enzymes, and make the process of digestion that much harder to accomplish. So it is a good idea to drink one half hour before a meal, or one hour after. The rest of a persons meals should be light and full of fiber, such as salads, fruits, and veggies. If a person follows this program, the chances are that their bowel movements will tend to occur when they get up in the morning.

This is my daily morning routine!

As a person wakes up in the morning, it is a good idea to stretch, while still laying on the bed, and then pull first one knee up towards your chest, then the other. This will help to expel some air from the rectal cavity, and make elimination easier. Then 8 or 10 knees squat if possible for the same reason, as well as exercising your body. Also, it helps to put on a belt, and tighten it up, as far as you can and still be comfortable. The more air you "push" out of the rectal cavity, the easier the bowel movements will be!

It is a good idea to clear your nose and sinus cavities, as well as rinse out one's eyes with either a weak boric acid or salt solution (See "Clean Out Eyes" below). This will help to remove "floaters", sometimes caused by "dry eyes". Blinking helps!
I have found that saliva appears to thicken during the night, due in part perhaps to breathing by mouth rather than nose, as well as one's inability to swallow while sleeping. I was not aware that I swallowed at night, and when I asked members of the medical community if I should void or swallow, I was advised to void. This did not make sense to me, because if a person was supposed to swallow while sleeping, it must serve some purpose. Possibly an aid to digestion. So, I take a drink of apple juice, to help swallow the thickened saliva in my mouth and throat.

A "TicTac" during the night, or in the morning starts things moving.
I read somewhere that it is a good idea to "chew" every thing we drink just to keep the muscles active, as well as to aid digestion.
Then there is another item to check, and that is your tongue. It is one more organ that excretes toxic waste; so if it is covered with white mucus, scrape it off with a stiff toothbrush or tongue scraper, and rinse out your mouth! Then, continue washing yourself as you usually do.

EARS

The last cavity that one can clean out, is one's ears. However, it usually only needs to be done once a month or so. Many times there is a wax build up, that increases bit by bit, until it interferes with your hearing, many times going unnoticed. This has a tendency to create a number of problems, such as isolation, anger, frustration, and depression.
There are some ear wax removal kits available at most pharmacies. A simple and inexpensive way to clean out the wax, is to put 4 to 6 drops of mineral oil in one ear at a time, and plug up the ear with cotton. This softens the wax, and it can be 'flushed' out with a soft squirt bulb. The other ear can be done at a later time.

If you have trouble "waking up", run some cold water on the insides of both wrists this will send a chill through your body, and jump start your metabolism. Especially useful on hot days also, to cool down your body.

Clean Out Eyes


My Eye Wash Cup

I have found that there seemed to be a lot of "junk" in my eyes in the mornings. After a visit to an eye DR., I was told that I had "Blepharitis"

I call them 'floaters'!

I was told that there is no cure for them, and eye wipes were suggested. After some research, I got out my plastic eye wash cup and a salt shaker. First thing in the morning while washing up,I pour some warm water into the cup, add a 'dash' of table salt , give the salted water a stir with your finger so that the salt disolves, and wash out my eyes one at a time.

Some folks say ,'isn't that going to hurt'! If it hurts, you have put in too much salt.

When I first started this, I put my finger into the cup, and tasted it. When it tasted as salty as my tears, that’s how much salt was needed.

Bring the 3/4 filled cup up to one eye, open your eye lid using the hand that trembles the most (the only use I have found for a tremor), blink your eye a few times during the process will help you to see better.

I may have to do this more than once a day!

Next, I go to the litchen, prepare and drink my Lemon Urinary Tract flush. This consists of 2 tbsp of lemon juice and 8 oz of water. One of the best disenfections available!

Then I take what ever steps that are necessary in order to have a bowel movement.
